Your fuel lines are probably old & brittel they are the first thing to leak on those sometimes they leak around the tank but they are really thin lines & they get hot from engine heat & dry rot easly replace both lines from carb to tank & the leak will be gone most lines are 1/4 lines in most cases

On a featherlite weedeater what's the small green thing that's stuck in the gas cap vent on the inside of cap called???

It is either the tether or the non-return that lets air in, but doesn't let gas out. Most parts are obsolete.

Describe your Poulan/Weed Eater No. Te475 952711797 17" Le Gas Trimmer/Edger Problem Need gas to oil ratio for poulan prolink pp335 weed eater

I found the manual for this model weed eater, according to the manual the mixture...
and I quote "This engine is certified to operate on unleaded gasoline. Before operation, gasoline
must be mixed with a good quality synthetic 2-cycle air cooled engine oil designed to be
mixed at a Ratio of 40:1 ...."
and I quote once more from the manual "Helpful Tip. To obtain
correct oil mix ration, pour 3.2 ounces of 2 cycle synthetic oil into one gallon of fresh gas."

Hope that helps,
If you like I can send the manual via email if you need it.

How do you fix a broken gas line to gas tank that was previously glued but does not hold and leaks gas to a Poulan GE21 weedeater?

Buy a new gas tank! Are you serious! Or buy a new weed eater, if you can't live without this one, those models are cheap, don't waste your time.

My weedeater brand trimmer won't start

I believe you have the wrong GAS AND OIL MIXTURE. MOST WEED EATERS are a Ration of 90:1 or even less 75:1 For WEEDEATER I would use a 50:1 or if you choose 32:1 should work. Use a good 2-stroke oil. DO NOT USE ANY OTHER OIL> You see the more oil you use the harder it is to start. Don't forget to Pump the fuel Bulb on the side before trying to start it.About 3 x should do it. GOOD LUCK and it is and does effect me when their is death by a LOVED ONE. My prayers are with you! From Mddoc13 ( BOB)
