If red light was not blinking before lamp replacement and after that it start blinking 3 times then pause for three seconds and again blink, check lamp cover that has not been fixed on tv or it is not fixed/ seated correctly there.
Lamp cover is first thing that you removed from tv to replace lamp.
Hope these info will help. If red light is blinking other than 3 times, let me know how many times it is blinking along with tv model number written at rear to provide you helpful info.

Red light blinking 4 times on Sony bravia TV.This is the problem of INVERTER BOARD.The inverter board has to be replaced.Every Sony bravia tv has a particular model number and the Inverter board part number depends on model number of the tv. Blinking red light shows TV got some problem internally and need to be repaired.
Now important thing is how many times that red light blinking? There would be pause of 3 seconds in blinks so count pause to pause and let me know to find out possible cause of problem.
Is it Sony KDS-55A2000 model TV or any other model?

You might have burned out the red color crt. In projection TV's there are 3 CRT's (one for blue one for red, and one for green). If you have the other 2 colors but no red I would assume this is your problem. You should be able to get it fixed for around $150.
