If you don't own the item you can, at your own risk, find alternative means to obtain it online (eg torrents, cracking, etc.) though most of these would be illegal, so at your own risk. In either case, make sure that wherever you download it/when you do, to store a backup of it just in-case something does happen to it again

B) Observe Anti-Static Precautions.

C) Items in order that you have to remove to access the Fan.

1) Hard Drive
2) Optical Drive
3) Keyboard
4) Switch Cover
5) Display Assembly
6) Top Cover

All of these items above are listed in blue.
All you have to do is click on each one.

Use a can of compressed air to remove all dust, dirt, lint, etc.
Use Q-tips to dislodge the heavy gunk, then follow with air.
You can also use a small soft brush carefully.

Use Short Bursts when aiming towards the Fan.
Squeeze the trigger in all the way, then let go fast.

Spinning the fan faster than it is designed to spin, may cause premature failure of the fan's bearings.
(Provided it's just gunk causing the problem, and not bad fan bearings. If there is any perceivable movement side to side, the bearings are bad )

DO NOT use a vacuum!
