Samsung multiexpress K4350LX hdd image recovery file.

The image recovery file is an image of your HDD. If you don't have it anymore because you formatted or replaced your HDD without cloning the old one, you will need to re install your OS from a bootable DVD or USB drive.
Then you can restore your data from your backup files.

Removing recovery from hard disk

It is most likely that installing "recovery" on a HDD has made the drive a system drive. A system drive by definition is a drive that will boot during startup. Also "recovery" is many times a separate partition on the HDD. The simplest way to fix this is remove any data on the disk that you want to remove the "recovery" from. This next process will delete all data on the drive.

If possible install the drive in your working PC. Check to make sure that the PC has booted from the main drive and operating normally. Under computer you should see the HDD containing the "recovery"
Right click and select format.

first off, is that code, what I means.
the poster forgot to say they were doing RECOVERY.
and that is what fails. (or bought the PC used just now and last owner put it in to recovery stuck there,.... no history stated.
it fails for 2 reasons, (or more)
1: someone replaced the hdd before, killing recovery dead.
a new HDD/SSD means OS gone and recovery partition too.
2: upgraded the OS with out using Toshiba media.

if the HDD is bad now, there will be no 0 key recovery possible
the maker does not sell recovery media on any old PC.
most OEM only do this for 1st 3 years
no OS stated by you at all.

now to fix a computer with not money
there is only 2 answers,

Sata hdd windows dell recovery cd will partition install windows

The system is originally designed to use IDE HDD, make sure the necessary chages for Sata HDD are made in the BIOS, next make sure the Recovery disc is fine without any scratches. You can order a new Windows OEM recovery disc by calling Dell tech support (1-800-624-9896-US) and try installing the OS. The disc will cost you not more than $12.

THE BOOK ON THIS PC SHOWS CHAPTER TITLE RECOERY
IT HAS AND SHOWS 3 WAYS TO RECOVER
WHICH ONE FAILS. NOT TOLD.
MY GUESS IS THE MAGIC IMAGE WAY
IF THE OS WAS UPGRADED IT FAILS NOW. (Image does not match actual OS reasons)
the hdd replaces or upgraded to SSD ,this fails sure it does.
the hdd is called Smart sata drive and we ruin the 10 second test on it to see if it is a good HDD, run this first, and win. free and safe.

When i try to restore my toshiba sattlite with factory recovery disc it shows a error message at the end. 10-fc10-0017

Hi friend,

I think the problem is with the HDD possibly some corrupt partitions.
So it would be advisable and recommend to format the HDD.
Usually this should be done using the Toshiba Recovery DVD but try to format the HDD using an original Windows XP CD.

After HDD was formatted try to start again using the Toshiba Recovery DVD. Note: If it does not work then this is time to change your hard disc :( ... but no other way.. idunno..

Recovery partition - repair

You have obviously deleted the partition that the laptop could recover from but usually if you are supplied a cd to recover windows, there is normally a drivers folder within the cd but not the aplications, such as anti virus although these are only for a trial period. for things like microsoft works if supplied, are normally on a seperate cd. Without knowledge of your partition software, you should be able to partition the HDD and then copy the files from one drive to another, but the restore may not work as the system files may not weave together when you come to restore. I would imagine it's only the drivers that's youre main concern, which you can install from your other laptop.
