VIZIO 42 CLASS RAZOR LED SMART TV M420KD I am reposting this question. This is not a projection tv. Picture was fuzzy for a few days, then suddenly heavy green ghosting on people and throughout the entire screen. There is also a thin white vertical line on left side of screen. Tried to reset factory settings and it was worse. The sound is fine, just the picture is very green and distorted.

please try with video input from any device,and i think you are using local antenna and it has gain problem or your tuner section of the tv is not working correctly.
if distroted pictures comes with video input signal it is video amp and processing unit problem.
you have to go for repair shop for fix that.

This is the Hyper Module that needs repaired. There are several small sm caps that dry out in this model. It's the module standing up to the right covered by a can as we call it. I really don.t recommend you trying to repair it. One slip and that module is done and you can't by a new or rebuilt one anymore. Please let a repair center look at it and do the work. You won't regret it.
