The RESET function will clear everything that you have programmed into the scanner and restore original factory settings. You can, however, restore the 150 pre-programmed frequencies after a RESET.

To RESET:
- Power the scanner OFF.
- Hold down the 2, 9, and PSE keys and power the scanner ON.
- CLEAr appears on the display as the scanner resets.
- Do not power the scanner OFF until CLEAr disappears from the display.

To restore the original 150 pre-programmed frequencies:
- Turn the scanner power OFF.
- Hold down the 3 and ENT/PGM keys and power the scanner ON.

2. Select the bank you want to clear all locked-out frequencies.
3. Press the FUNC, L/OUT. Lockout list will appear.
4. Press 6. Confirm list clear? 1=yes, press another key for no.
5. Press 1 to clear all.
