I see you have two different problems, one for the display you would have to change your clock, and because you did not give me a complete model number I can't get you the part number you need (four different colors possible on this model). Second, when an oven ignitor becomes weak it can extend cooking times and cause the same problems you have, also if you oven sensor is defective or has oven cleaner n it can cause temperatures to be erratic. I will and can help you but need a complete model number to get you more information. Located left or right side of storage drawer when its pulled out along the frame rails.

it is a job for a gas fitter
he has the correct jet sizes for the conversion, knows where to place the air shrouds to get a good blue flame
knows the regulator pressure settings
is trained in gas fitting and is not likely to blow your house up
gas is not a diy project

The heating element stays on when the door is open. The drum stops spinning as door opens but continues to heat. Is there a faulty sensor some where?
The heat element is grounded and must be replaced ASAP.
Do not use the dryer untill it is fixed.

Top works fine, bottom no heat, does this unit have seperate heating elements or could it just be the internal fuse
Check your thermostats, all of them. There is a video here that shows you how. You can get any multy-meter or ohm-meter. The multy-meter you set to any ohm setting. When you check the thermostat if nothing happens, the numbers stay in zerro you have a bad thermostat. Is that simple.

Dryer element stays warm
If it heats w/ the timer in off position whenever plugged in the the element is shorting to ground, its most likely due to either a broken coil or a cracked insulator. If heating w/ timer set for drying but motor is not running, the heat circuit thru the centrifugal/start switch on the motor is stuck closed.

Hot surface indicator
The component that controls the hot surface light is part of the element. If there is a light for each element you just replace that element. If there's one for the whole surface or each side you'll have to figure out which element is causing the problem.
