Toshiba 1360 I have a Toshiba 1360 copier which doesn't work at all, the red wrench light on the control panel is blinking.

You most likely have an internal error. Bad news is that your 1360 is a little beyond obsolete and chances are parts are unavailable. You may indeed be very much out of luck. Time for a new one, sorry to bear the bad news Margaret.

open the machine and lift the red fuser cover and check the exit sensor make sure that that the flag moves easly then makr sure the registration sensor flag moves easy as well the sensor is located at the black roller in the bottom of the machine there is a cutout in the plate you should be able to see the flag if not it is stuck in the open position the figure 8 is a paper jam error

When that is flashing your copier is jammed or thinks it is jammed, check the paper path for any sines of paper.

You have a bad fuser.

press the clear/stop button and the 8 key at the same time and a code will be displayed.. try that

you need service technicien to maintenance your copier, because it is full with used toner.

"C7" Faulty thermistor, thermal fuse, or heater element

Did you replace the cleanerblade?

Power off the machine, switch on while pressing 0 & 8, enter 200, then press the start button, the machine will run for about three minutes to adjust the Toner sensor. The machine will stop, press the interupt button to save the setting, switch off and then on.

If the older techies is reading this, please help to confirm.

Turn it on holding down 0 and 8. Key in 89, press start. press 0, press start. Turn it off and on.
