SOURCE: LG super blu player won't play blu ray disc

Have you updated the firmware on it? I had a similar problem with a Sony blu-ray player and I had to download an update and burn it on to a CD then allow the CD to update the blu-ray player. What's the model number of your player, I may be able to get a link to the update for you.

When I turn on my Sony DVP-SR200P DVD player and press the eject button it's turns the DVD player off.

turn on first the dvd player and wait to read a disc inside if no disc inside the tray it will say disc error. if the unit doesn't turn off, eject now the the cd tray. if get turn off, remove the cover then check for an stuck up gear or obstruction in the cd tray assembly. you can check also the power supply board which may have unusual parts like bulged or burnt component parts.

Dvd stuck in machine will not play or open to remove movie

Hello,

there might be something hooking the disc tray that is prevent it from opening.

The solution to this problem now is to, get a screw driver, unscrew the screws on the player, open the player cover so that you can gain access to the disc stuck inside, remove the disc and check for what's preventing the player from ejecting.

Take care.

DVD stuck in tray of Panasonic RA60.

many dvd players have a small hole near the tray. if yours has this little hole just straighten out a small paper clip to form a straight piece of wire and insert the wire in the hole. That will open it up for you.

Stuck in self check mode

Manually pull down the front shield, then somewhat forcefully pull down the inner shield and maybe two little white pins so the tray is exposed with nothing blocking it. Have someone plug the machine in while you are holding everything out of the way and the tray should start to open. Pull your fingers out quickly so you don't block the tray from sliding out.
