Can't figure out how to set the time zone

I have an Honeywell Atomic clock that was auto set to the Pacific Time Zone when I bought it, but I am now in another state and it won't change the time zone to central time zone. It's the kind that projects the time on the wall, and it shows the temp.

I just pressed and held for about 3 to 5 seconds the button with the +/- on the bottom of the clock and until it showed the part of the US that I was in.

Trouble with precisetime atomic wall clock several hours behind

Check the time zone setting for your local time zone. If you are Eastern Time Zone but setting is for Pacific Time Zone, then the difference will be several hours. Check your manual for proper setting.

How do I set the alarm on my Sharp Accu-Set Model SPC452?

  • 1 Insert batteries into your atomic clock. Without these the clock won't work. The number of batteries required depends on the clock. There is usually a panel on the back of the clock where you can insert the batteries.
  • 2 Set the clock. Usually, this is done automatically, as the clock will seek out and receive the signal within 6 to 8 minutes. If this doesn't happen, you'll need to do it yourself. Hold down the "Set" button. A figure on the clock will start blinking. Adjust this by pressing the adjustment button. Press "Set" again to go to a new time. Continue until the clock is properly set. No matter what you put time you put in manually, the clock should adjust to the atomic setting within 48 hours.
  • 3 Set the time zone on your atomic clock. How to do this depends on your specific clock. On some, there is a time zone slider; you simply slide it to your time zone. Otherwise, you will need to enter the manual mode you used to set the clock. Switch the mode until the time zone starts blinking. Now, adjust until your current time zone is selected. If it goes by Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), the time zones in the United States are -5 for Eastern time, -6 for Central, -7 for Mountain, and -8 for Pacific.

Need to reset atomic clock to Virginia time zone; now 4 hours ahead

To set up your clock simply install one fresh AA, LR6 ALKALINE battery. Due to the nature of long wave radio signals it is normally not possible to receive a signal during the day so it is best to install the battery late in the evening. Select your time zone by pressing one of the four time zone buttons PT-Pacific Time, MT-Mountain Time, CT-Central Time, ET-Eastern Time. The time zone buttons may be pressed any time after installing the batteries. If multiple buttons are pressed the clock will set to the time zone selected last. If no time zone is selected the clock will default to Pacific Time. Another time zone can be selected during or after the clock has set itself. Your clock can only set itself to one of the four time zones stated above. For time zones outside of PT, MT, CT or ET you must manually set the time using the Manual Time set button on the back of the movement.
When the battery is installed the second hand will advance eight seconds (two seconds per step x four steps). The clock is now searching for a signal. For the initial setting it is recommended to stand the clock in an upright position near a window. Within five minutes the clock will either receive the WWVB signal and set itself to the exact time, or it will determine that the signal is not receivable at its current location and time of day. If a signal is not receivable it will fast-forward the hands to the 4, 8, or 12 o'clock position and search for WWVB each
hour until a signal is received. If the time is manually set the clock will continue to periodically search for a signal and automatically reset the hands when the signal is received.

Sentry self setting atomic clock lost the instructions

Select The Time Zone - For Sentry Self-setting Atomic Clock (ATC - 10)
The default time zone is Pacific zone.
    1. In the normal time mode, press the MODE key to enter the alarm time mode.
    2. Press the SET key to change the time zone.
each press of the SET key will move the time zone back one hour
    P= Pacific M=Mountain C=Central E=Eastern
    3. Press MODE key when correct Time Zone is highlighted.

I think the Instructions may tell you to use the ADJUST key instead of the SET key.
ADJUST key does not work for TIME ZONE change, SET key works.
This will set your clock to your chosen Time Zone for normal time.
Instructions for the ATC20 are located at the following url
