If it's a picture sent by sms, bring up the text msg, scroll to the picture, "long press" with your finger on picture only, a new window will appear, then select save, select whether to phone memory or sd card memory.

Easyshare software for zd710

Yes you can, and I do it all the time. I copy the pictures to "My Pictures" folder. If you OPEN the DCIM folder by clicking on it, then SELECT ALL, then choose copy. Now close your camera folder. and OPEN "My Pictures" and then choose PASTE, all your pics should be inserted into "MY PICTURES". The reason your pics are deleted even after you've renamed them is because your OS is only copying them as shortcuts. If you don't want to copy or paste, next time you try to save one of your pics, hold down the shift key while dragging your pic to your folder and it won't move it as a shortcut. Hope this helps.

Camera has auto-deleted pics twice

I've had similar problems with other cameras. The problem is not the camera, however, it is the sim card. If you remove the sim card and place it in the card reader on the computer, the contacts on the card eventually wear out. What it sounds like is that your new pics were not saved to the card due to poor contact. If this is the case, unfortunately, nothing is recoverable as nothing was saved. A possible short term fix is to remove the sim card and scrub the contacts with a pencil eraser. A long term solution is to get a new sim card and leave it in the camera and transfer pics using a USB connection from the camera to your computer. I hope this helps.

Is it possible to recover my formatted pictures on my XD card

Deleting or formatting won't make the data in xd card erased permanently.

Those deleted data is still stored on the xd card, it's just invisible or inaccessible. Only the FAT or NFTS table is erased (the information about where those data were saved), but the real data are still intact there in sectors of xd card .

So as long as those data are not overwritten by new data, it's highly possible to recover them. And the MOST Effective way is to rely on some format recovery programs.

Try asoftech data recovery program, which can recover data after deeply scanning your xd card drive to look for lost data you accidentally deleted or formatted.

Memory card formatting

Unfortunately, there is no way to format your card without losing any saved pictures. Sometimes, if you insert your card into other cameras or printing kiosks at walgreens or target, it will work. it's a long shot though. Chances are, you may have to lose your saved pictures :(

Memory

hi there,

what you can do is transfer those pictures to a computer before deleting the pictures in the camera. whenever your take pictures, they are directly stored to the memory card. accordingly to your preferred memory storage. so if in doubt, save your pics to a computer before deleting.

hope this helps.

Erasing pictures

If you erase them off your memory card they shouldn't be transfering back onto your computer. I would say that maybe they are saved on your internal memory of the camera also. Take your memory card out and see if when you turn the camera on you have pics in the camera stored. If you do delete them then. :)

Memory

assuming you can access the card in your computer either via the camera or via a card reader you do have a chanve of getting some back - the latest batch and some of earlier sessions if not over written Go to www.konvar.com and download PCInspector, Install the program and run it. direct it to the image source and run the program- see what happens
