How to Add Email to the HTC Incredible

1) Tap on the "Home" icon.
2) Tap the "Grid" icon. It is located in the bottom-center of the screen. This will bring up a list of installed applications.
3) Tap on the "Email" icon.
4) Enter your email address and password, then tap "Next."
5) Choose the type of account you will be using. Select "POP3" or "IMAP," depending on your personal email client. There is also a "Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync" option, which connects you directly to an existing Exchange account.
6) Enter information into the field under "Incoming server settings." You can enter your username, password, server address, port, security type, and "Delete email from server" options here. Once you confirm your information, tap "Done" and then "Next."
7) Enter your "Outgoing server settings" information. This includes Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) server address, port, security type, a "require sign-in" check box, username, and password.
8) Select your settings in the "Account Options" menu. These include email checking frequency, a "Send email by this account default" check box, and a "Notify me when email arrives" check box. Select "Next" after you confirm your settings.
9) Enter a name for the account and your name for outgoing messages, then select "Done."

Hi. what kind of password unlock are you asking for your HTC Droid Incredible? If it is a security password, you can reset it by signing into your Google account. If it is a network lock, you can unlock it by entering the unique unlock code. You can get the unique unlock code from ClassicUnlocking.com at affordable cost. Good luck.

Hi, contact your carrier to be sure they are not having issues. They may have you reprogram your phone. They will give you a code to enter. You could also push the activate phone button and see if that would correct the problem.
I would try my first suggestion by contacting them.

I would get contacts backup app and SMS backups app first. Back them up as well as any app settings. Then I would go to application settings in settings and press the menu button and reset the application settings or navigate to factory reset and then setup your locks in the beginning and then import your contacts, your SMS messages and your old app preferences. After that I would test both instant lock and timeout lock.

If it's a picture sent by sms, bring up the text msg, scroll to the picture, "long press" with your finger on picture only, a new window will appear, then select save, select whether to phone memory or sd card memory.

Hi Friend,

I would recommend to first of all check if the Data Connection option is enabled beacuse most of the times after hard reset the phone it will turn of the data connection because it resets to the factory default. Kindly check if data connection is On.

If the above option is enabled, I beleive you have to get the Internet settings back from your operator/phone company.

Kindly check and let me know if it helped and let me know if I can be of any more help.

Messages are stored on internal memory, not the SD card. Make sure you deleted your sent messages, and cleared your trash if needed. Also make sure pictures are moved to SD card.
