How do i factory reset a Compaq Evo N610C Notebook

i cant able to install sound and graphics driver of compaq c 7000

Removing the Time of Year battery will clear the BIOS password. It is located on the underside of the n610c behind the panel covered by the Microsoft COA label. A small phillips screwdriver is required to remove the two screws on the panel. Carefully lift the BR1225 battery with a small flat blade screw driver.

After 10 minutes re-insert the battery. The BIOS Password should now be cleared, as well as other BIOS settings, the time and date.

Try this: -
Remove your Laptop Li-ion battery module.
Then remove the RTC battery for at least 15min.
Replace RTC, and boot the computer ONLY with the AC-Adapter.
Enter the BIOS and set to boot from USB

Do the following steps -
- Remove the laptop battery - Remove the CMOS battery - Leave it for idle for around 15 minutes - Put the CMOS battery in - Boot the laptop  with AC power - Then put the laptop battery in.
 - The BIOS pwd would have been reset now
- For troubleshotting the battery - Go into BIOS and run the Battery Caliberation tool
