That sounds a bit unusual.... Does the fan come on when you turn on the oven on bake? How about on broil? How about on self-clean. If it comes on in all those settings, then it may be working as designed. If NOT, they there may be a crossed wire, or you may have a malfunctioning control.

there are 3 screws under the front of the top with the oven door open actually there are 6 screws but only 3 you need to remove to raise the glass top up!! to service the burners

You might find the tag in one of these places:

Cooktop/Range/Stove
Gas:

• Inside the cooktop--if the top lifts up
  
• On the outside, bottom of the unit
  
• Inside the top of the vent duct--if it's a “downdraft” unit
  

Electric:

• Under one of the surface burners, or inside the cooktop--if the top lifts up
  
• On the outside, bottom of the unit
  
• Inside the top of the vent duct--if it's a “downdraft” unit
  

Gas or Electric Oven

• On oven side of the door jamb (with the door open)
  
• On the lower drawer jamb (with the bottom drawer open)

Remove the grill and slide out the glass top. Take a close look at them burner. If all look ok then it may be the switches.

If the oven was really dirty, particularly with grease and unsolid food stuffs, then you will see smoke come out.

The self clean features basically incinerates the food residues in the oven. With incineration comes smoke.

If you feel there is a problem with the electrical circuits, then we would recommend that you call an appliance technician to inspect the unit for any faults.

Reply back what you find.

the bridge burner is 99 percent chance that it is blown. turn the power off and take that burner out and see if you can see a break in the burner. then replace.

if you will send me your model number off your serial plate on your range will be on front open oven door or lower drawer some where and when you bought it i need to check the service bulletins before i reply but dont rate me till were done
