Toshiba 52HM95 has a blinking yellow light and will not turn on

Try cleaning the fans, especially the fan that cools the light box.

have you checked the bulb ? has the picture been getting darker ?

it still could be the lamp, check for cloudiness at the base of the light, if not check to see if the lamp door sensor is making correct contact.if so it could possibly be a lamp ballast

It is the Light assembly engine. Happened to me It is $700 to fix and the wanartee on the new part is 3 mos

check the lamp.

MY TV IS ON A REC TIMMER IT WILL TURN ON BUT IT WILL TURN OFF AGAIN AND THE GREEN LIGHT WILL COME ON .

Mine was having the same problem. Just heard back from the shop and they said it's the light engine. They want $750 to fix!!!

How many times does it blink?
I replaced the ballast in my 62HM84 and it fixed it. The problem was TV would not turn On, Red light solid green light blinked 9 times then TV would try to restart. At first I thought it might of been the bulb, so I replaced it, same results. Next I replaced the ballast which is pretty easy, just take pictures before you remove the light engine so you can go back to the picture to verify the connections when reinstalling.
