Go to mouser.com an search for the LED that you are looking for. Color, diameter, clear, etc and you should have enough info to find something close to what you are looking for. The brightness and color may be a little off from the original but most will work. Note: If it has wire leads it is "through hole"(search in mouser for standard LED - through hole)

The LED cans are not easily dimmable to very low levels. The signals sent are all digital. It is POSSIBLE that the A channel fader doesn't go low enough electrically within the console and the conversion to the control stream of data is NOT commanding a low enough level. LED's are HARD to dim below a certain point and what would happen is that in the multiple strings of each color, some stings would go completely out before others... SO it is possible they have a minimum SET in the PAR can that is the lowest level that can be done without dropping off some of the internal groups and making a mess of the color. There would be NO solution available to you in this case.

Read about terminating the chain with a resistor 120 ohms. If your run has appreciable length, a termination MAY be necessary to avoid digital reflections that can corrupt the message between the control and the lights. Having separate power sources CAN subject the units to "ground bounce" that can also corrupt the digital control. You need to power all the units from a single source or conditioner if possible. Another solution might be to use one of the DMX radio links which would isolate the ground problem. Another fix you MIGHT try is to get some of the clamsheel ferrite devices that clamp around the wires. Put these around the digital cables, not the power cords:

Among other things to check is using a terminating resistor at the end of the chain if the chain runs a distance. Read "DMX termination"

Swap the units to verify each is OK or re-route the daisy chain..

Make sure power voltage is adequate. If using a battery, the LED will light LONG after the batteery is beyond usability.
