check you cables like a VGA monitor you have three colors Red Green Blue on the cable and if one is broken then the color will not come in correct. on your device that feeds video to the tv try some different cables and inputs it might be a bad cable
Color wheel failed. Clean the glass pieces out loose in the unit and replace the color wheel assy with Toshiba part no: 23125963. No soldering is required, just a no. 2 phillips screwdriver and and a set of jeweler's phillips screwdrivers like Radio Shack has.
That would be the color wheel. They range from $150-$600. That sounds like the whole light engine could have went out. They can be rebuilt for around 750-1000 bucks.
