I have a ypa 1000 and a ypa 300 and each says exactly how many watts it runs right on the top cover.
The 1000 is 120wpc x 2, the ypa 300 is 35 wpc x 2.
So pick a middle figure closer to 100 wpc.
Peace.

What orion cobalt sub is good for this amp?

You do not have enough listed for specifics but you do need to match your sub with the amp from an ohm standpoint and a wattage standpoint. I am sure your amp can handle down to 4 ohms but may handle 2 ohms. Find that out and then check on the output wattage of the amp. A lot of people have separate amps for the sub itself and run the system off of another amp. Either way is acceptable.

Just bought 2 12 in d3 dual 2 ohm subs with d5 600.4 amp. Need to know how to wire subs. They were in a box already I assumed they were wire at 2 o When i hooked One up to my amp it hit really for Jus...

what wattage are the subs and amp? if your subs are more wattage than your amp, your amp will blow fuses as cant handle the output to your subs. for example. you have 2 500 watt subs and a 300 watt amp, that is no good as amp isnt powerful enough. if you have 2 500 watt subs you need at least a 1200 watt amp to power them both. 200 watt more than the combined wattage of subs as amps should never be turned up to max as they tend to blow and overheat more quickly. 80% volume on amps is reccomended by installers and manufactures.

My kenwood kac 9103d just crapped out on me and i am looking to buy a new amp but when i bought my sub the guy specifically wanted to know what type of amp i had to match it to the sub. so now do i have to...

More specifically, the amp must support the resistance of the sub, or subs. If your amp is 2-ohm stable, it can run a sub, or subs wired for a 2-ohm load. Also, whatever the recommended maximum wattage is for the subwoofer, try not to exceed this much, if at all, with the amplifiers wattage.

I want a reliable system.

if you bought that equipment today then your answer is yes your amp will power the subs but if i was you and you want more bass I would go with a two channel amp or even a mono block amp that will be 1 ohm stable and if you decide to do that you might want to get subs that are dual 4 ohm voice coils and run them in series that will get you 1 ohm of resistance

What is best amp to run 2 12 inch cvr's

12In Kicker CVRs
are Dual Voice Coil, and You can run each voice coil around 200 Watts RMS

So each sub will have a 400 Watt RMS and 800 Watts peak.

Now since you have 2, Your total will be 800 Watts RMS and 1600 Watts Peak.

I would get really any amp that sits at around 800-1000 Watts RMS.

These are kicker but they are low end so i wouldnt push them to the extreme.

1000-1200 Watts RMS Max and but keep the Gain down on the amp. They will hit no doubt but i wouldnt push these subs or you will be disapointed in the long run.

I would get a Fosgate or MTX amp.

You can get any amp really but find something right around 1000 Watts RMS and it will push those well.

You can go mono block or a 2 channel, just depends on how you want to wire them.

Be careful though. If your running them bridged right now with your mono block, do not run them parallel bridged on a 1000w RMS Amp, you will blow them so fast lol

(RMS = Root Mean Square. Or in other words is the continuous wattage being sent from the amplifier to the subwoffers)

Velodyne S-1200-B info

if the sub is 12", it is about 1000w. I think there are other versions of this such as the 10" and others that are of lower wattage.
