FOR THE LAST 14MONTHS I RECEIVED AN ACCOUNT FROM VODACOM FOR 5ACCOUNTS. THE PROBLEM ACCURED THAT I WAS OFFERED A SECOND PHONE, WHICH I REFUSED AND SENT BACK TO THEM, IT HAPPENED AGAIN AND AGAIN END EVERY TIME I SENT THE PHONE BACK. vODACOM KEEP ON BILLING ME FOR 5 PHONES AND i HAVE ONLY TWO ON MY CONTRACT.I REPORTED THE PROBLEM AND ON THE 18TH SEPT. This is a legal problem. You need to write to their Customer Service department stating what you are supposed to be getting for your payments and what you are not. If you are using the internet you may onlt be entitled to a part refund, otherwise ask for a full refund until the proper supply starts.
Keep a copy of any letters you send or eceive, and dates and times and notes of any phone calls.
Even better if you joined Which? magazine as they have a free legal service

Try jailbreaking it. Put a different (but free) OS on your phone if you can like cyanogen (android). hope this helps.

Your inverter board is the problem, those cheap panasonic mags they use now short the diodes on the inverter board. Inverter technology is neat but does not work for very long. I order both the mag and inverter together on those everytime

Darlene, First find out about warranty. If it is out of warranty, the fan is not terribly difficult to access. The likely causes are ice build ups or alignment issues. In either case, once you get in there, you should be able to see what is needed to fix it. Replacement is easy, once access is available.

I just had this issue happen to me last week.. fortunately I was standing in my kitchen when it happened... I heard a snap and then a piece fall down the inside of either the door or the front key panel.. I'm assuming this controlled the door locking/oven turning on safety mechanism. The inside light wont go off and it won't turn on to cook.. I am trying to figure out if it's worth paying to fix or just replace the whole unit!? Anyone know if this is fixable by oneself rather than spend a bunch of money on a service technician??

I cut the magnetron right down the center. I can see why so many GE magnetron fail. They have a poor Filament design. The sparial spring that completes the filmanet circuit on the cathode will become brittle over time and will surely fail. I am a layman when it comes to this design. I see no GE
magnetron with this filament design lasting 10 years.

If you have a sentimental attachment to this microwave (lots of the older ones feel so much more "quality" than the flimsy throw away versions offered today), then you might want to pick up a service manual to diagnose your issue.
