in the installation notes , it probably reads to this effect
to run the light all the time --switch of power supply and switch on
to run a light sensor - turn the power off , back on back off back on
one action changes the internal program to leaving the light on , the other activates the sensor mode
the switch is the light switch that controls power to the unit
check that you have power from the light switch to the relays to trigger the relay to turn the lights on. IT may be a faulty light switch--- fuse --light module control unit.
neutral safety switch or ignition switch...if dashlites, etc come on when u turn ignition on, prob neutral safety switch...chek brightness of headlights for good all around connections...
does this happen when you switch the radios in the chargers. are the terminals on the charger clean, no corrosion. change the batteries form 1 radio to the other does the same thing happen, then it must be the battery going
Hi I solved the problem by taking off the battery for around 1 hour.
I attached the battery again.
And press hold switch around 10 seconds.
The unit booted and it proceeded to auto configure and auto installed program soft wares.
I realized that the unit is self shutting off.
Solution is go to setting.go to system.go to back light menu. on backlight on external power .Be sure to uncheck turn off backlight if devise is not used for 1 minute.
Be sure to check turn on the back light when button is pressed or the screen is tapped.
press ok to activate the setting.
For maximized battery power and optimized power usage .go also to back light and go to brightness level. Slide the battery and power to almost the 2ndlevel .
Hope this also will be applicable to other o2 xda iis configuration.
Your problem is either the Alternator isent charging its 13.5 volts and the battery is flat or wont hold the charge SO do this.
Jump start engine again let it run for 2 minutes then turn on lights,, the head lights should go bright at 13.5 volts. it engine cuts out..and the lights dont go bright,, then the Alternator is not charging,,,, If they go bright and still cuts out the batterys NO GOOD.
Replace battery or get it checked outit must hold 12volts all the time Let me know how you get on.
Sounds like a lose or burnt charge terminal. Fixing would require disassembling the laptop and resoldering the loose or broken connections. You might want to try a different AC adapter first.
