Looking for drivers to use this monitor with Fedora 20 Linux OS

You don't need drivers. You need to adjust the resolution and refresh rate. If you plug in an old CRT monitor then Linux will probably boot and you can edit the conf file to change the settings. Most LCD monitors require 50-60Hz refresh rate.

What are the issues about Linux Operating System

There are MANY Linux operating systems. The main ones known are Ubuntu, Fedora, PC Linux OS, OpenSUSE, Cent OS, Linux Mint and Debian.

Debian is the mother or what Ubuntu and Linux Mint is built from. Debian is considered to be stable. Ubuntu is also supposed to be stable as is Linux Mint. The advantage of these two are ease of use. Debian, Linux Mint and Ubuntu are using .deb packages for applications to be installed.

OpenSUSE uses .rpm packages. It is also considered as stable, but not as widely used as Debian (and the other two) CentOS and Fedora.

CentOS is mainly used for Server purposes. However, in the installation, there are many types of installation options, including Desktop. CentOS is based on the Enterprise version of Red Hat. This is what mainly more and more websites are running off of as it is extremely STABLE and FAST!! So Cent OS is the free EXACT version of Red Hat. Fedora, is the test bed for Red Hat , carrying the LATEST technology being made available to anyone for free.

ALL of these operating systems, except Red Hat, are for FREE. All applications are for FREE. Just to let you know, Google also is using a Linux version for their phones now as well called Android, which you can also acquire for FREE.

The only disadvantage that used to exists until recent is that you could not play all the latest and greatest games on Linux. Now with Steam, you can play anything.

There is a myth that you could not install Windows applications on Linux. You can use Wine on Linux to install Microsoft Windows Applications. If you are having a problem, you are probably missing some files for wine to make it work properly.

Linux is also being used in cars. Check out Toyota and Mercedes Benz that is using Ubuntu. Linux is big and amazing.

Hope that answers your questions.

My acer aspire one D150-1Bk lost the bluetooth due to changing of OS where could i download the software of the certain bluetooth, tnx

Hello,

That depends entirely on what OS you you replaced the original with.
If you replaced it with a Linux Distribution, such as Fedora or Ubuntu, you will need to open your "package manager" and search for "bluez". Bluez is the framework stack that powers bluetooth devices under linux and most motherboards are supported. If you are using Ubuntu or another debian distribution, you can install bluez by opening a terminal emulator or "command line" and typing the following:

sudo apt-get install bluez

If that returns something similar to "The program aptitude is not installed.."

Then you are not using a debian-based distribution and will need to hunt down bluez via your native package manager.

In order to find out how, you should research the package management utility for your chosen distribution to learn how to use it and download the correct bluez software for your system.

Linux can be very frustrating for new users, so your best bet is to hit the books and learn as much as you can, or if this is too limiting and doesn't fit you well, you may want to switch back to your native OS.

If, however, you are not using linux, but an even more obscure OS such as AROS or another amiga clone, then I'm afraid you won't have bluetooth capability as bluetooth is not supported by many of these.

I hope this was helpful to you.

Sincerely,

Frankie

How we can install Linux ? please easy method write down here

Just download and install any lightweight Linux distribution, and then write it to a CD or DVD with a CD writer program. If you don't have one and use Windows, you should try ImgBurn.

http://www.imgburn.com/

Some Linux distributions that should run well on this laptop are:

http://www.xubuntu.org/
http://lubuntu.net/

1) Boot your PC
2) when the grub menu appears, use the down arrow to get to the menu option listed as (rescue system)
3) when the text-based menu appears, choose a menu option that gets you to the root shell, then following the instructions mentioned in this link: http://www.cyberciti.biz/tips/black-screen-while-starting-x-window.html. Debian instructions will work for Ubuntu.

How to download and install apache on linux5

Hi Follow the below procedures.
How to install and start the Apache or httpd service under Linux

by Milind

Q. How do I install and start the Apache or httpd web server under Fedora core or Cent OS?

A. Apache HTTP Server is a free software/open source web server for Unix-like systems and other oses.

Apache features configurable error messages, DBMS-based authentication databases, and content negotiation. It is also supported by several graphical user interfaces (GUIs) which permit easier, more intuitive configuration of the server.

Use rpm command to install Apache under Linux. You can also use up2date or yum command to install the same.
Task: Install Apache/httpd under Fedroa Core/Cent OS Linux

Type the following command if you are using Fedora or Cent OS Linux:

# yum install httpd
Now, start the Apache/httpd
# chkconfig httpd on
# /etc/init.d/httpd start
Task: Install Apache/httpd under Red Hat Enterprise Linux

Type the following command
# up2date httpd
Start the Apache/httpd
# chkconfig httpd on
# /etc/init.d/httpd start
Task: Debian Linux httpd/Apache installation

Use apt-get command:
# apt-get install apache2
# /etc/init.d/apache2 start
Task: Verify that port 80 is open

# netstat -tulpn | grep :80

You can also install httpd from CDROM with rpm command:
# rpm -ivh httpd*
Configuration

Your server is started but you need to configure and use Apache as per your requirement. /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf (RHEL/Cent OS/Fedora Core Linux) or /etc/apache2/httpd.conf (Debian / Ubuntu Linux) configuration file. Use text editor such as vi to edit file. This file is very well documented or read official Apache configuration documentation for more information.

Linux on LG e200 or r200

Best way to find out is to download a live CD. If you're planning on running Debian, using the Ubuntu Live CD should demonstrate whether current Debian works on your system.

It may not auto-configure all devices in Live CD - don't be surprised if you find that USB headset or WIFI card doesn't work on boot - but at least it will give you a clear idea of whether the system works or not on your machine.

Ubuntu's 8.10 (Intrepid Ibex) is reported to boot on the e200 in Live CD mode; you need to use "safe" graphics mode to do the install (after which you can install the correct video drivers).

Enjoy your new OS!
