BT330 Headset, not charging

I've bought the headset last December, but since I've been travelling around a bit, I haven't been able to take it out of the box til this Sept!!! It flickers a blue light once when I plug the charger, but then it does nothing. No lights, nothing at all. Please help me! I've tried keeping it plugged for a day, but to no avail.

You have to get your battery changed!!

I found that if I removed the ear pad on the charging side of the earphones, and accessed the circuit board, that the connection from the battery to the plug was lose. I plugged the charger into the headphones, while I attempted to make the connection more secure or tight. When the red light came on and stayed on I put everything back together. Whala! The unit started to take a charge and has worked ever since. This maybe a common problem for this unit.

Change the chargeable battery inside..dunno if it's available in ebay..google it up...90% this is the solution..or else it is the voltage transistor that is defective.

I bought voyager pro last month. Today the headset will not charge. Was plugged in all night and it tells me that I have an hour of talk time. I tried plugging into the automobile charger and the red light...

Since you bought it last month I am hoping you have a warranty on the headset. It may be that it is just a bad battery, and the batteries are not replaceable. Sometimes that happens straight out of the package, but not very often. It could have been due to heat or cold damage. Check your connections again, maybe try a different outlet, and is it plugged into the headset correctly?

Good luck from Headsets Direct!

Hello, i cannot connect my headset (ASUS HS-1000W) with my playstation 3.i ve check it with my laptop and it connected.the flash light is green but not steady.i ve done all the procedure from the manual

If this is a Bluetooth headset, I have found that not all headsets play nice with the PS3. I had to switch to the Sony PS3 headset to get mine to work consistently.

How to replace a battery

I checked the manual, available here ; audio.manualsonline.com/manuals/mfg/jabra/bt330_1.html
I can see no mention of battery replacement.
I looked on eBay and found no-one selling replacement batteries for the BT330.

The battery type used in headsets only lasts two to three years, so you may have to replace your headset. I noted a Jabra model BT2040 available that uses non rechargable AAAA batteries.

Ive disconnected my headset from my phone and need to know passcode in order to reconnect

It's '0000' (four zeros), but if it has already been paired to your phone, you don't have to perform the pairing process again. You just have to turn both your phone's bluetooth radio and your headset on. If the link is not automatically done (some phones show a headset icon on the top bar to indicate the link is done), try to press the headset's MFB. If you have to press the button to restablish the link, it might happen that the voice path gets connected (you can hear it on your headset). This would draw the headset's battery pretty fast. To avoid it, either press the button again, or just by turning your phone off (put it in stand-by mode, of course) could do the trick.
Just my 2 cents... Carlos

This is the second Plantronics earpiece that stopped working

I am sorry to say but the Plantronics are cheap and not well made. Sounds like you might have a weak battery and because of that it wont have enough charge to turn on. I myself have gone through many and now spent a little bit more and got a better earpiece.

Battery

A fully charged battery should last up to 4 hours if it's being used A LOT! But I lost mine and it was in standby mode for pretty close to 3 days and when I found it I was still able to use for quite awhile before charging it again.. So yes, it sounds like it had a weak battery..
