SOURCE: i cant find the filter on the hotpoint aquarius wd440

Depending on which model you have ,there are 2 possible locations for the filter.
Check to see if there is a removable plastic panel at the botom front of washer, if there is then remove it and if there is a filter there , you will see it, unscrew the cover anti clockwise and clean same.
If no filter there then remove lower rear panel of washer, locate large black hose, and remove clip and hose from bottom of tub,be careful as there will be some water run out.
Remove plastic filter and ball ,clean and replace, and refit hose, making sure it is secured properly.

Test for leaks.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.

SOURCE: does machine have a filter

The filter is to be found at the rear of the washer.
Remove lower rear panel of washer, remove large black hose fastened to bottom of tub.
Watch out for water running out.
Remove plastic`filter inside hose and clean.
Refit filter and hose.
Dirty washing can somtimes be attributed to washing at too low a temperature, so make sure you have selected right temp for washing.
Please leave a fixya rating for my solution.Thanks.

SOURCE: my hotpoint aquarius wd440 has flashing lights

First of all try cleaning the filter inside the back as described by others if this does not work there is a filter in the top. how you clean this is quite easy. all you do is remove the top of the machine by undoing the 2 screws at the back then pull top top backwards when you have removed the top you well see a large metal casing on the left if you are looking from the the back of the machine the filter is in there to remove the casing you pull the small pipe off then undo 5 star headed screws then gently pull the casing off noteing that there is a large pipe at the front when you have remover the casing you will see the filter (the small pipe you removed at the start fits on this filter) clean the filter then put it all back together.

Hi i have a Hotpoint WMF740 Aquarius washing machine which had a F-05 error which i have hopefully fixed. now the lcd display is saying f-09 error what do i need to do now.

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
For the F05 presumably you found and cleared/cleaned the drain filter ;-0)
F09 is rather a more difficult problem as it decodes as an 'incorrect or faulty EEPROM'. I presume you have tried disconnecting power and reconnecting again? If you have I'm afraid it will need an engineer to fix ;-0( Sorry, John C
