Reset password
There is a pin hole present on back side of modem reset button press it for 5 seconds and ur modem is reset all setting and passwords

If you connect the computer directly to the modem, does it work?
If that works then the modem is working.
Now connect the computer to the router and the modem to the router.
You will need to open the set up page of the router to check the settings of the router.
You can set up the router without the CD also.
It is very easy.

To reset the D-Link back to the default settings, press and hold the RESET button on the back of the router and power up the router, hold the RESET button for 5 secs until the LEDs flash at the same time then release the RESET button.
The default login = admin
The default PW = blank (just press Enter)
