On the HTC Wildfire A510e, the headphone jack isn't properly working. When the headphone is forced in and/or positioned oddly, it works. Otherwise, nothing. Its not the headphones itself, i looked into that. So what's the problem and how to fix it?

Hi Xzavier,
Sounds like a loose or broken connection in the phone itself, especially if you tried the headphones in another phone and it worked. I would suggest taking it to your provider and see if they can fix or exchange it for you.
Thanks,
Gary

My htc wildfire s hangs on htc logo when i do factory reset ..

Hello Ankur, making a factory reset to a HTC can stop Recovery from working as it wipped lot's of configuration data. So there are some steps to make that HTC working great again. First you need to check security state ( by pressing power+volume down buttons when starting - removing batery first is the best way). There you can find Fastboot, Recovery, Reboot... if it can't load a starting (branded or not) image, it can be flash connected to pc. I had reconfigured one of my HTC Desire S with new Viper android operating system. it's great. if you can find if it is a "LOCKED" or "UNLOCKED" and is in "S-ON" or "S-OFF" phone (as described in upper bolded font), I will can help you fixing that HTC.

You tube its not working continue its over buffering even with WiFi please help me

In my own experience, the Youtube app on HTC Wildfire only seemed to work on videos less than about 2min time. It seemed this app needs the latest Adobe Flash Player for Android (version 10.2 or 10.3) to work properly. Unfortunately, HTC wildfire processor (ARMv6) is not supported.

P.S. I was able to play a 30min youtube video embedded in an article viewed inside Google Reader.

Sound through headphones only.

Try the speakers on another computer, to see if they work at all. If they do, then the problem is the audio-interface on your computer (or DVD-player, or home-stereo system).

Compaq CQ50 Laptop

If the sound works on you headphones the either your built-in  speaker(s)  is/are  bad or more likely the headphone jack itself is broken and not making contact in the speaker position which is fairly common.
