90 % of Hotpoint range problems will be a loose or broken wire either at terminal block were cord hooks up. check wires from block to stove the wire running up to elements and control board
also check were range plugs into wall it may be loose and not getting good return. burners will work because there is no electronics involved just a infinite switch and coil burner
oven has a computer board for operation.
if you do not find the problem there then change control board
defective relay or computer chip

Is there any sign of life? Does the oven light come on or does the clock work? Just for kicks, go and reset the breaker - it should be a double breaker for a 220V appliance - sometimes half will throw and still leave 110v that will run the light / clock.

Sounds normal due to the oven needing to vent somewhere. They usually vent from under back right burner.

You have an electrical fault in the connection to your stove or in your home. I believe that the neutral connection that is one of the three or four wires connecting your stove is loose or lifted off. Get an electrician in to solve your problem.

Hi , try to check the power outlet , posible recock the breaker , check also the piower cord test with continuity tester both end of cord (diconnect before you test ) switch on knob if tester response , try to connect to power outlet test the electric stove.

check your breakers check your cord make sure you have 220 volts at service block

Sometimes in self clean it can burn out the element.  Need to check the element with an ohm meter and see if it shows resistance.  If it shows open then the element is bad.  If it shows resistance then the element is ok.  Next see if you are getting 220 volts to the element when in bake mode.  If you are not getting 220 volts then the control is bad.
