My wii fit balance board says to step off and press A

The blue power light is on and I can use the wii remotes but the balance board says that I need to step off a press A. I am not standing on the board. It keeps repeating that over and over again. I have tries turning it off and ejecting the disk and starting over again. It didn't help.

You need to load it, stand on the board, step off, and then press A. I have a WiiFit and that happens. It expects you to be standing on it.

The wii fit game is telling me to push the power button on the balance board with my foot. It blinks blue and that's it. The batteries are fine. So what do I do?

You need to sync the balance board with the Wii. It's easy to do and takes 10 seconds.

1) Start Wii Fit.
2) When it asks you to push the power button as you're describing, open the SD card slot on the front of the Wii and observe the red button.

3) Now, flip over the balance board. Remove the battery cover on the bottom of it, and press the red button beside the batteries, and the blue light should start to blink.

4) While the blue light on the balance board is still blinking, quickly press the red button on the Wii. If they are both blinking at the same time, they should be syncing to each other.

5) Your Wii Fit Balance Board should now be synced with your Wii! If it has been synced successfully, you will no longer need to sync it, and should now automatically connect when the button is pressed with your foot.

New crown compatible wii fitness board will not sync with wii console. board only blinks a few times then switches off

Have new crown compatible fitness board, new batteries inserted, inserted Wii fitness disc, choose training, then trial, choose hula hoop game, used remote press A to start.

Screen says place me on a flat floor and press POWER button before stepping onto me

Followed the instructions power button flashes blue, as do the four corners then the lights go out - then nothing happening, still have the same message place flat on floor etc....

Have also tried the Wii Balance Board Check - followed all instructions last one says please turn on power. Pressed button flashes blue as do four corners then they go out

Am I doing something wrong or Is this a faulty board ?

Thanks
