F 20 Error Code Appears when I hit the Bake Button

I just changed the controller for one of my dual elements on my Frigidaire Stove. After I got everything put back together. I turned on the Breaker...All of the elements on my stove top worked perfectly. Then I set the clock which was flashing as if there had been a power failure...Once I set the clock successfully I turned on the oven..It seemed to turn on, then about 15 to 30 seconds later starting beeping and flash F20 err   on the display...I could hit and clear and stop it, but everytime I hit bake, I get the error code F20....I need help, is there a reset button somewhere, or could I have screwed something else up when I changed the controller for the element.

Richard, sounds like you did all the pretests. You'll need a new display panel. When you work on it, be sure to cut the power.

SOURCE: Have a frigidaire es510, i

Hi ,

This is the code for a communication failure between EOC (ELECTRONIC OVEN CONTROL) & ESEC system
1. Test harness/connections P4 (EOC) & P11 (Surface Element Control Board)
2. If harness checks O.K. failure can be caused by faulty UIB, Surface Element Control Board or EOC.
Check on the back of the stove there should be an envelope attached to it that has service paperwork in it with diagrams
It will most likely need a new oven control very easy to replace just remember to remove the power to the unit before you work on it.
Please contact me if you have any more questions.

Have Frigidaire Gas oven FFGF3053LSF. We had a power surge & F13 code came on display. Power restored, clock works, F13 code is gone- but now a DR code comes on when I push bake or broil button

Exact same thing happened to me. After a power failure my Frigidaire stove worked and the clock worked but bake broil and self clean gave me a DR error. Tried everything to reset nothing worked. When I unplugged and plugged back in I got an f13 code.I changed the control board and the entire oven is back in business!c86f7aab-24e4-4403-bcd6-0b838d53ac57.jpeg

Stove top stopped working but oven and warmer element work.

You have a defective breaker. Once you replace it the oven will get the correct voltage restored.

Frigidaire stove model CFEF372EC3 Ser #NF60720192

Things to check : Thermostat, heating element and the circuit breaker for the stove at the power panel. If the stove has lights and the clock works, there is a 100 % chance the circuit breaker is at fault. There are 2 breakers with joined trip handles. One of those breakers has tripped without tripping the other which stops 20 volts but not 120 volts that the clock and light run off of. You can use a multimeter to check the element for continuity. If there is continuity then check for the presence of voltage at the element terminals. None indicates a bad thermostat.

I have a Kenmore Ultra Bake. Stove was on bake set to 375. Only the broiler element came on at full power. Tuning off oven did not turn off broiler element. Stove was to hot to move so I turned the braker...

Hi

F3-E2 Error indicates a loose/broken wire on the oven temp sensor or the oven temp. sensor itself is bad and should be replaced. To solve this issue test the oven temp. sensor, it should read between 1080-1120 ohms, if the rating is more then that and the door appears to be closing fine then it is the control board that is bad and should be replaced. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

What does F13 Error mean?

Hello,

Here is what the F-13 error code means and the fix for it.

F13 Internal CPU checksum errors 1. Disconnect power for 1 minute.
2. Reconnect power.
3. If failure remains, replace the touch control module

So it says the main computer control had detected a error in the touchpad control

I hope this helps,

I hit 350 and start on my range and sparks flew out of both sides and now the oven does not work. The stove works but not the oven. can you tell me how to fix this.

It sounds as if the bake element has failed. They cost around 8 to 20 dollars. You will need to unplug the stove first. (Shutting off the stove breaker is good to do before unplugging the stove as an added precaution). On the back of the stove there is a metal
cover with a couple of 1/4 inch hex screws. remove this cover and unplug the bake
element. Then remove the two hex screws inside the oven and slide out the bake element. The model number is located below the oven door behind the drawer to
purchase a replacement. Hope this helps.
