Enginerring mode not working

Turned on the machine as I normallly do, raised the incline to 5, and went to select the speed, and it started to speed up on its own and almost threw me off. I turned off the machine to follow the direcitons previously given to me for the calibration, and the "314" code does not appear. I get a "728" code that appears. So I tried to proceed through anyways to E91 and it starts to calibrate by raising the incline all the way and then keeps trying to push it up while it clicks several times, then it will lower it and just stop. The speed does not start at all. Please help!!

The Steps for Newer Style Console Calibration
1. Locate the calibration area on the rear or underside of the console (a hole, near the console's center, that goes through to the electronics board. (This hole should not have a screw in it.)
2. Insert a pencil (eraser end), into the hole and feel around for the cal button (will click when pressed).
3. Press the button 2 times (with the pencil eraser). The first click should show CL11 in the console, the second click should show CL21.
4. If the process was done correctly, and CL21 appears in the console, you are in "calibration mode." The next few steps consists of pressing buttons on the console and observing settings. This will not require any other tools.
5. Press ENTER. CL22 should display in the TIME window and (??) in the SPEED window.
6. Press ENTER. CL23 should display in the TIME window and (??) in the SPEED window.
7. Press ENTER. CL24 should display in the TIME window and (??) in the SPEED window.
8. Press ENTER. CL25 should display in the TIME window and (??) in the SPEED window.
9. Press ENTER. CL26 should display in the TIME window. You should then see the letter "E."
10. Press ENTER. You should see "SS" or "55" in the console.
11.Push the STOP/START button. For safety, at this point, you should step off, or be off, the treadmill.
12. Push the ENTER button. The walking belt should start to move, accelerate to maximum speed, then stop on its own.
13. When the belt stops, the incline should self test by raising to its highest incline position, then lowering back down to its lowest position.
14. Once the incline test is complete, push the POWER button 2 times. The unit should shut off and the console should go completely blank. If this happens, the treadmill is done calibrating and is ready for use.
15. If the letter "F" appears in the SPEED or INCLINE window when the power button is pressed 2 times, the treadmill is indicating a failure somewhere either in the SPEED or INCLINE (depending on the window the "F" appeared in). Troubleshooting the failure would be the next step.

SOURCE: lower incline

Dear Sir:

I STRONG recommend RUN the calibration Software Inmediately, for eay Diagnose and troubleshooting, most of them instruction has coming in the Hood of Motor, follow the instruction or use your instruction manual.

Adjust the sensor speed attached the diagram. Tight the wires from sensor speed. The sensor speed can be faulty. Adjust the Pot with the gear in the same motor, both can be faulty. And finally the main motor board can be wrong. sincerely.

God bless you.

I would check the main wiring harness, from the motor board to the console. Check the connection where the main frame connects inside the right upright bar. Remove the triangle shaped plastic cover bolt and side it up the upright bar. You will see the harness. Pull it through the acess hole the check the connection.Make sure all connections are tight.inclines motors rarely fail. To get it down you can reverse the red and black wires from the incline motor to the motor controller. Then run the calibration, once it's down just pull the safety key. Sole F63 Treadmill Incline Error

I finally got back to my treadmill. I raised the deck and lubricated the tread. Then started it up and it went to ground as it should. Then ran calibration and it appears to be working again. No idea why raising the deck caused the machine to be able to go down again. Now I have to reset the speed sensor as I have it a little too close and it ticks occasionally while jogging.

We have a 600 mx and the pad is not working, the only button working is the start, i cannot increase speed or incline it either.

It is very unusual to have no incline or walking belt operation..
Try entering diagnostic mode and do a calibration. The instructions are found under the motor cover on a tech sheet.
1: with the safety key removed, press stop and speed up simultaniously.
2: Attach the magnetic safety key.
3: press stop 1 time.
4: at this time, by pressing the incline up, the incline should calibrate, going up to maximum then back to minimum..
5: press the speed up key, you will see the numbers on the console increase. The machine should start moving the walking belt around 25-30 on the display. At 85 the belt should be running at maximum speed.
6: press speed down, the machine should stop.
7: remove the safety key. Now replace the safety key and try the machine again. If any of this procedure didn't work, I would suspect a defective console. Otherwise, the motor controller may need replacing.
Good Luck
