I was watching the TV when suddenly both vertical and horizontal hols were simultaneously lost. The sound is fine. View video clip of problem here, then tell me what you think. http://youtu.be/bHlRCTcHWRo Thanks. [email protected]
It sounds that the synchronization separator section is faulty. In all modern sets, the section will be a circuit part inside the main IC. Therefore, check out, and replace that IC.
Testimonial: "I'm not familiar with that term. I just acquired an actual service manual, so I'll look for it in there. Or maybe you are referring to the LA7841 Vertical Deflection Output IC? Mine had some bad solder. Too bad fixing the connections didn't solve the problem."
