The lower bearings on the right hand side of the upper rack slide came out. I have all the parts but am hesitant to force bearing back into their slot. Is there a majic way to accomplish this task? will forcing the bearings back harm the slide unit? thank you in advance for your assistance.

This is a McGiverfix and may be temporary
The 2 ball races are held alligned by a plastic tab between them. it breaks off and the bearings roll seperste causing rail to tip.
This fix replaces the tab with wire and keeps the upper and lower race together.
How;
1. Remove both sets of bearing holders
2. Drill 2 very small holes in the wide tab, near the edge
3. These will be for a fine wire later
4. With a Vice grip pliar, bend the front end of the rail open.This allows the bearings to clear the stop bump.
5. Place the upper and lower ball race 1/2 way into the fixed half
of the rail while assembling the slider 1/2 into place.
6. With the tab ends you drilled the holes in sticking out of the track.
7. Take a length of fine wire, like #20 copper, bend a very short L on on end. Thread the wire thru the hole, bend the other end and trim the short leaving a L on that end also.
8. Slide the 2 bearings into the rails.
9. With the vice grips, bend the track closed again.
Thats how l just did it. Unknown how long it will last.
Its too bad they dont sell that bearing assembly.
I removed the plastic bearing holder on the under side of the slide. I know it did not fix the problem, but it eliminated the bind that would not allow the rack to slide out completely. Thanks
