The drum is turning but not heating up why?

It could be a bad heater, thermal fuse or if an electric dryer possibly one leg of your power is tripped and needs resetting at the circuit breaker on the house. Try flipping the ganged power breaker both off real hard and flipping them back on real hard and see if that restores the power to the dryer. If a gas dryer then the igniter or flame sensor could be bad.

Kenmore Series 80 Dryer won't start after Circuit breaker was tripped

A breaker thrown that many times indicates a serious electrical problem. You need to have the problem taken care of by an electrician. You should be worried about the safety of yourself and your family.
That being said, I would guess that breaker has gone bad and needs to be replaced.

Water heater flipped the circuit breaker and now no hot water, why?

You might have electric water heater.
Symptoms are not known
Reset button should be pushed firmly and then it catches. If it does not reset, then replace thermostat. If it is not tripped out, then check circuit breaker.

My electric heater will occasionally not turn on when the temperature drops. For the past 2 months I have been flipping the breaker (which has not flipped

Do you have a electronic thermostat or a circuit board on your electric heater? When you are flipping the breaker you are resetting the control just like you do when you reboot your computer. Something is causing it to lock out.....

As always, if you are in doubt about what to do, the best advice anyone should give you is to call a licensed electrician or HVAC tech to advise what work is needed.
Before you do any work yourself,
on electrical circuits, equipment or appliances,
always use a test meter to ensure the circuit is, in fact, de-energized.

Where are home fuses located on the kenmore dryer?

If you were told to check the home fuses its the circuit breaker for the house. If the house is older it may have a small circuit breaker just for the dryer. Otherwise open the circuit breaker for the house and look for the dryer fuse. Usually 2 20amp breakers together. Flip it off and push towards off a little more to reset than flip back on.

Dyrer wont turn on at all whirlpool duet front dryer??

Make sure there's power getting to the washer. Check for a tripped circuit breaker or a blown fuse. Check the wall socket for power. Sometimes the power cord disconnects at the washer, if this is the case, the wiring must be repaired or replaced.

If all checks out OK above, replace the control or, timer module.

For an electric dryer that runs but doesn’t heat, follow this repair roadmap:
Flip the circuit breaker off and then back on. Electric dryers run on a two-pole, 240v breaker. A common problem is for one of the legs to break which cuts the 240v that the elements need to heat up but it still supplies the 120v for the motor. The result is that the dryer runs but doesn’t heat.
If the breaker checks out, then it’s time to do some surgery. Unplug the dryer and open it up.
. Use your ohm meter to test the thermostats. All should show continuity.
Measure the resistance of the heating element with your ohm meter. Normal readings are in the neighborhood of 30 ohms.
In rare cases, the centrifugal switch in the motor can fail which breaks the power circuit for the heating elements. If this is the case, then the entire motor must be replaced since the centrifugal switch is built into the motor.

Dryer flips breaker everytime

There is a short to ground somewhere.

Most likely where any wires go through the cabinet into the door or inside the door where a hinge or other moving part ir rubbing it.

Disconect power (unplug it) and inspect all wiring close to those areas for worn spots. If you have an OHM meter, you can ohm each wire to ground and see which one is shorted, then trace it back to the problem area.
