hmm i had the same problem the saturday before on my lt-42x579but i didnt have anything hooked up to it blue light came on then flashed ..no pic this happend one week after it was pd off from a rental store we should investigate
1. Hold [menu] and [vol-] button on the side of the TV 2. while holding these, press the [power] button on the side of TV (NOT remote) 3. blue light comes ON and stays ON 4. wait 10 seconds then let go of [menu] and [vol-] 5. wait another 30 seconds and some type of picture should appear
I think this is right. I got it from the JVC call centers guys so sorry if I missed or messed up a step.
utencilio posted this fix. It worked for my JVC LT-42X579.
Okay, I found a fix! Called JVC, spoke to somebody there, here it is: 1)unplug the TV completely, no wall no power strips, completely 2)wait 10 sec 3)plug TV back in and Turn it on, the light will still be doing the same thing 4)wait 30 sec 5)ON THE TV, not the remote, locate the menu, volume (-) and power button. 6)while
simultaneously holding down the menu and volume (-) button, pressed the
power button ONCE and continue to hold the other 2 for 10 sec. 7)on the remote control, go to menu>settings>system info *** now this I know as a FACT will work on systems that display: JVC - ver.5.32FO001, but I don't know of any other versions*** 8)press the mute button on the remote twice 9)unplugg TV again and wait 10 sec. 10) plug TV in and turn on
It
SHOULD be working normally now... Thanx to the guys a JVC support for
this one, I know it seems like an obvious first place to look, but
sometimes it isn't. I for one checked online forums first
You need to press the [pcon] button while in the iPod mode of the TV. Then use the Touch to select the file you want to playback. It will playback on the TV. Ensure the iPod is set to output video to TV.
