Try going into the menu on the tv. Once you are in the menu look for "restore factory defaults". Restore the tv back to factory. If this doesn't get you your colour back then i would suggest that something more serious is wrong with the tv
Blue screen only usually means no signal for whatever reason--check all inputs to see if any function---if not suspect main board which processes all signal in the set may be bad.
If this tv vertical colors lines problems happen by itself,tv problems not causes by u or an object by hitting forces to the tv LCD screen panel itself. The tv board that call the T-CON board it is dead, this board sit in the bottom in the middle of the LCD screen panel.Must be replaced the T-CON board to solve tv vertical colored vertical lines.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole new refurbish T-CON board for the replacement. If causing by u or an object by hitting forces it to the LCD screen panel itself. The tv not worth a whole tv anymore, because by replacing the tv LCD screen panel will cost the same as a new tv.
Your screen is defective. Screens are very expensive to replace but you might be able to find a used one on line. You will need the part number of teh screen it is located on the back of the LCD panel on a white sticker. Do a google search and see if anyone is selling it. You can try www.interliquidparts.com
Hi again, I just replied your previous question. As per manufacturer part policy, LCD Panel consider as One Part though it consist of T-Con Board, Back Light Inverter, Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamps in lcd panel (according to lcd panel size). If you ask JVC or any other brand service center, they will answer you to replace lcd panel because of their part policy, but you can replace T-Con board and Back Light Inverter boards in lcd panel just to reduce repair cost. I'm practicing tv tech and do this kind of repair when required. Shop Jimmy basically disassemble new tv and sale out boards and lcd panels on reduce price. Hope this info will help you. Thanks.
Hi, Symptom shows that problem is not related with power supply or fuse because tv shows JVC logo screen then went blank. It seems issue with digital video processing circuit that is located on main board of tv. Please unplug tv from AC wall socket for minute to get it reset, replug back in and turn it On and check problem solved? Let me know model number that would be written at back of tv if problem still not solved. Thanks.
