Hello there. Yes there is a plastic piece in your particular model of incline motor. It also does wear out on occasion. The only fix is to replace the entire incline motor. This motor is available at http://www.iconservice.com If you go to the replacement parts section and input your model number (29633) you will be able to find part number 51 is available for $159.
Good Luck! Tim

Although it is fairly rare the incline motor can jam up into the highest position and get stuck there. To fix this take off the plastic hood that covers the incline motor and depending on the motor you should be able to wind it with your hand out of the highest position. When it is out of the highest position run the calibration as described in the owner's manual and it should go all the way up and all the way down. If it is not this type of motor that can be wound by hand then the first and last thing to do is to try calibration of the incline as described in your manual. If this does not work then a new incline motor is needed.

1)signal false coming console or display board
2) main motor controller is faulty.
3)Pot attached of the elevation motor ,need adjustment
4) geared slip from elevation motor , carring false signal to console.
Proceed to Test it.
