The camera did not record voice of movie when I use the optical zoom

From page 30 of the manual: "If the ZOOM buttons are being pressed during the Movie shots, the voice will not be recorded."

Because it's supposed to. From page 46 of this manual: "Once movie recording begins, optical zoom cannot be adjusted."

Yes. However, the camera cannot playback the sound when playing the video, and the optical zoom is disabled while recording sound.

Your camers is set that way change your settings go to menu

To play on PC your camera has to have cable to PC, plug the cable that you get with camera into sockets at rear of the PC, then download the movie to the PC with Media Player (built in your windows versions).

How about turn the nobe on the top. It is on the movie part. so it is recording movie. Change it to P or some other letter. You should be able to take picture now. good luck

Your camera is not broken. That's by design. Canon cameras do not allow optical zoom use while in movie mode. Canon claims that using the optical zoom in movie mode would cause excessive noise in the movie. However, you can use digital zoom in movie mode. You'll need to go into the menus (press the menu button) and turn digital zoom "on" if it's currently off.

The optical zoom and digital zoom are disabled.

3000Z allows no zooming in movie mode. Sorry!

Yes. The Olympus C-60 Zoom Digital Camera can record movies in Quicktime Movie Mode, however it cannot record sound.
