Need to check your User Manual for USB specifications.

USB port can only recognise certain formats, so you may need to either change your USB device's File System (e.g. convert to FAT32) or convert your files into a format the unit will recognise.

When CD Inserted the port gets disconnected and does not recogonize

are you using a single usb connection? Unless you have power plugged into the unit you probably need a dual usb cable (two usb connect to pc (or mac) and one connects to the cd player. Most usb ports do not provide enough power for a cd player plugged into one port.
Hope that works for you

When i connect my fuze to the usb port in my cd player i dont hear any songs jus says "check"

The USB connection on the Sansa is to communicate with a computer (and incidentally to charge the battery). It's not intended to connect to a CD player.

What is the usb port for and how do you work the sd port

Ok basically the USB port is so you can plug a USB memory stick into it and it will play mp3 music files off the USB Stick, or will play off any other USB Mass Storage Device, you can buy these on ebay very cheap. The SD slot is so you can plug an SD Memory card into it and it will work the same as the USB port, SD Memory cards are also very cheap nowa days and are often used in digital cameras. Hope this helps

My laptop dosent recognize my phillips gogear SA60XX

You can get the installation software from Philips website. Some laptops have a USB 1.1 port, which does not have enough power to support an Mp3 player. If the laptop USB port is definitely a USB 2.0 port, then hold in the volume + button on the Go Gear before connecting it to the laptop to see if you can force recognition.
