In most cases, it is the door switch. It usually has 2 micro switches and either one can go bad. Not a hard fix. I would look at the operation to see if the switches are working. If that is not it, could be in the circuit board. Could be too much to fix, maybe buy a new one if it is a counter top type. Otherwise let it run till it quits. Call a repair guy, and have him diagnose the problem. Tell him you will fix it in a month or two so could he write down what you need with the part numbers. This way you do not have to start at ground zero. Then order the parts and fix yourself if you feel brave enough.
