Frigidaire Over-the-Range Microwave Questions & Answers
Frigidaire microwave model ffmv164lsa constant beeping, with little symbol to the top left hand side of the clock displaying with the beep.
Hopefully no one sprayed a liquid cleaner directly onto or near the keypad...
From page 23 of the
owner's manual:
"Wipe the microwave oven inside and out with a soft cloth and and warm (not hot) mild detergent solution. Then rinse and wipe completely dry."
"Clean the outside surface of the microwave with soap and a clean damp cloth. Dry with a clean soft cloth. To prevent damage to the operating parts of the oven, do not let water seep into any vents or openings."
If there is moisture damage, it may dry out by itself if you leave it overnight with the door open. If not, the warranty would be voided and you'd have to arrange for out of warranty service.
If there is no moisture damage, and it failed not due to outside forces, then you should contact the manufacturer to arrange warranty service.
I have a frigidaire over the counter microwave and the turntable quit working
Good Afternoon Friend, I appreciate your post!
If the turntable of your Frigidaire microwave has stop working, often the possibilities include one of three culprits:
- Power Supply
- Turntable Turned Off
- Turntable Support Damaged
I always recommend resetting your microwave first before reaching out to a professional. You can do so by unplugging your appliance or flipping the circuit breaker for about ten minutes and then turn on your microwave.
Best of luck!-Z
How to change a fuse in frigidaire microwave?
Good Morning Friend,
I understand you want to know how to change a fuse in your Frigidaire microwave. Typically, this is not a do it yourself repair, as there are no step by step instruction manuals. I suggest contacting your local authorized technician for further assistance. They have been trained on your appliance and should be able to change out the fuse with ease. Hope this is helpful.
-Best Regards-

Cooling fan turns on very frequently
<-- I could have given you some specific detailed repair
information if you had included the full model number as shown on the tag on the oven (not from the manual).
And if FixYa would inform us experts when as persons responds to a request for more information, we could reply back quickly.
But since (for some reason) they won't, you'll just have to post a new help request.
But please be sure to include the full model number from the tag on the oven, and exact symptoms - what it's doing or not doing, and when.
Microwave noise
<- With a full model number from the tag on or in the oven, I may have been able to give you specific help.
Without that essential information, I can only give more general advice.
I would ask for additional information, but FixYa no longer notifies us experts when such inquiries have been answered.
If it's a GE with a model number something like JVM1861BW001, etc., I repair those boards for such problems.
