Take the 2 screws out underneath where the hole is. the part will pop off and reveal the tube. thats what i had to do. hope this helped.

FYI, also.... the hose/tube was never clogged on mine. when i opened up the coffee maker, it was completely clear. I firgured out that the hose was lose. (not completely detached), but just pulled away a little...enough to let air in and so it wasn't drawing right. kinda like when you have a hole in a straw. it won't work. Anyway, I sealed it better. no big deal....and it works absolutely perfect again.

Try keeping pressure on it, and turn it around as you insert it. You are trying to go around a corner in the tubr, and sometimes it is hard to get it to go around the bend.

MY BUNN COFFEE MAKER MODEL BTX-B BREWS SLOWER THAN IT USED TO. IS THERE A WAY TO CLEAN IT?

To clean your brewer, pour in 1 qt of white vinegar into the top, place the carafe on the base and close the lid. Allow the vinegar to sit in the machine for 2 hours. After 2 hours, turn off the machine and let it cool. Then remove the sprayhead and insert the metal spring(deliming tool) into the hole where the sprayhead was and twist it 5-6 times. Then you will flush out the machine by pouring 8-10 carafes of water through the machine.

After the Bunn is done brewing it drips clear water for a while.

When it continues to drip, this generally means you have a lime deposit build up in the water tubing. To correct this, if you remove the sprayhead and insert the deliming tool all the way up the hole and twist and turn it 5-6 times, then flush with 2-3 decanters of water, this should fix the problem. If it doesn't, get the model and date code from the bottom of the machine and contact customer service.

Bunn perks coffee very slow?

This is generally an indication of a lime build-up in the water tubing. If you take off the sprayhead and insert the metal deliming tool into the water tubing all the way leaving out about 1-2 inches and twist it about 5-6 times, this should remove the lime deposits from the water tubing. Then flush out the machine with 2-3 decanters of water. If this doesn't fix the problem, then call customer service with the model and date code for further assistance.
