Somebody please help i have an orion tv model 1934 when i turn it on the only channles i get is 3, 4 and aux i have it hooked to cable no cable box that doesnt work so i unhooked it from cable and put an antenna on it that didnt help i went to menu thinking maybe something might be in there to help fix it but i dont know the v chip code or even know how to reset the code i need some serious help before my daughter comes back home on monday to get this tv working. please help me im at my witts end with this tv!!!!!!!!!!!
Turn the set on, hook the cable directly to the TV, take the remote control and press 1 - 1 and if the TV tunes in channel 11 then your set is fine. If the TV was autoprogrammed when hooked to a cable box then the only channels that will be stored in memory are 3, maybe 4 and AUX. To correct this simply go back into the menu and look for the "autoprogram" option and perform the autoprogram while the cable is directly connected to the TV, without a cable box.

For the vchip, this works on most Orion TVs:
Turn the volume down to 0 then change to a blocked channel. (where it asks
for v-chip password) Next, on the TV, not from the remote, hold the
volume down button, and hold the '0' key on the remote for between 2-10
seconds... the screen should unlock and you should have no V-Chip
restrictions.

i have the same model, so try going to menu and doing the add/delete channel thing....also i found that i only get all my channels if the tv is set to catv instead of tv

this did not help i can now with the remote change the channels by number but there is no picture nor sound what do you suggest to do next
