Green light blinking on my sharp aquos tv

I unplug my tv count to 30 and push in the channel down and volume up and then connect it back. Sometimes the TV will come on for about 2 seconds. What will cause this? It then starts to blink again. How do I fix this problem?

Good day!!!!

That problem is usually cause of faulty capacitors on the power supply board..

Just follow this instruction to fix your TV..

1. Open the back cover of your TV.
2. Look at the power supply board..Its normally connected to the power cord..
3. After that,,try to look at the actual image of capacitors if it is bulged on the top so that you can easily determine the bad capacitors..
4. After that,,try to replaced the bad capacitors using soldering iron and soldering lead..replaced the capacitors only with the same type ratings and value..
5. Some of the capacitors not bulged so its better if have a capacitance meter

Mom's Sharp Aquos TV no sound or picture there is a green flashing light where the power light is I heled the volume up and channel down while the TV was unplugged. plugged it back in sound no picture

These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices.

If blinks continue without any pause, the main board is faulty.
Search the site by type in the "brand name" to your device, in the "Search box at the top right of the display window of the Homepage" to get gathered related posts.

Sharp Aquos TV doesn't work, power light is blinking at 1 blink/sec

Sounds like a fault code, ~I have found some info on it:-

The frequency and color of the blinks will indicate the issue. There is a hold-down button sequence to try to backdoor your way into the set to see if the panel will light. You may have simply racked up too many "weird tuner faults" and need to reset it. My suspicion is that it's either that or bad panel backlight.

Unplug set, press and hold (on set) volume-down and channel-down and hold them while pluging in set. Will come on with "k" on screen, or will crash again if backlight bad. If it stays on, use your remote and arrow right then look for "fact init" and any other reset and turn them on. Arrow back up to "fact init" and hit enter. Let set recycle to green and unplug/re-plug in 5 seconds: the set should be in OOB state.

hope it helps

I am not getting picture on my TV it stic on only one channel we are chengiong channel but same sound is comming also we are getting a blue coloured K on right hand side of TV

That blue K means you are in the service mode. Unplug your set and wait 30 seconds. Then at the same time you plug it back in, you need to be holding the volume down button and the input button.
The TV should turn back and the blue K should turn pink. Once this happens, press the volume and channel down button at the same time. A menu should come on the screen. With your remote, press the up arrow to reach the nest page. The first option should say INIT. Arrow to the right and hit enter. In a few seconds your screen should turn green and say success. Unplug the TV and wait 30 seconds. Plug the set back in and turn on your TV. You can then set your set back the way you want.

Lcd sharp tv flashing green light

Try unplugging the unit and while unit is unplugged hold the volume up button and channel down buttons down and while depressing both buttons plug the unit in. Let go of the buttons and the unit should come on in the service mode. There will be a small k on the screen. With the sharp remote press the channel up button once. This should bring up a menu that will show a lamp error line. If the lamp error is = to 5 the unit is in lamp error shut down. User channel down to highlight that line and curser right arrow to highlight the lamp error #. Hit the enter button to clear the lamp errors. Now unplug the unit and let it sit for a minute and plug back in. I hope this corrects the problem. If the unit does not come on by doing this or if it does and you do not find lamp errors the power supply pcb may have been damaged by the surge.

Sharp LCD LC-46D64U

Try resetting the TV. Here's how to do it - Unplug the TV's power cable. Keep the Channel Down and Volume Up buttons on the TV pressed and plug the power cable back into the outlet. You will hear a click when you plug it back in if the reset is successful. Hopefully this should restore your video and audio.

Power on problems

this worked for me before, but now the problem came back after being fixed for months! unplug the two connectors at the back of the tv, the ones that look like computer monitor cables. then go to top of tv and use manual controls, turn off main power, then turn on while holding input and vol down button, a small service menu will come up, use the channel up down button to go to test, then push input button, there should be a box with reset and some number in red. use the vol buttons to reset to 0, then power off.... reconnect the cables and then turn on the tv.
