What you have to do is go into your speaker program or just right click the little speaker at the bottom of your screen and go to playback options and disable the headphone interface that comes with the Guitar Link,  after this happens it will put it back to your default speakers
then click on the tab that says Recording options and turn up the volume on what should say Microphone USB Audio Codec

Afterwards go into your AC Box Combo program... hit "File" and than Audio+Midi Settings and At the top it should say "Interface" click on the box to the right of it and put it to your speaker program
Its decently complicated but it works PEACE

No sound when connect guitar

have you checked the speaker leads in the back to make sure they are hooked up> if so, you have power to amp? Volume knob turned up? is guitar cord good? (try it in a different amp , or check w/ an ohm meter) . Does the guiter have active pick-ups? If so, is battery good? and last, is the volume knob on guitar up" try all that and get back to me

Marshall Amplification Marshall MG2FX Guitar Combo Amp power turns on but no sound

Hi!
At this point, I would just take it to a tech rather than poke around in it. It sounds like the power section is the problem as you have guessed, but without the technical knowledge you'd be shooting in the dark. That particular amp is right on the line of being expensive enough that would be worth repairing, but you might do just as wel to check Ebay for another used one.
Good Luck!

Did you left the amp on overnight with a guitar hooked up to it?

Noisegate on vyper tube 120 chokes note off on high gain settings to much for my taste

You are probablly overdriving the unit. Too much gain saturates the electronics. The noisegate really only works to eliminate noise when input signal is below a certain level... it is NOT used or effective when at high signal levels. If you set gain too high the tiny signals will open the gate. The noise gate will prevent low signals like guitar "handling" noise from passing through until you are actually playing the guitar. This is the purpose of the noise gate.

Amp volume drop with flabby bass sound.

1) can happen if the speaker is dying - voice coil defective or magnet needs recharging. happens sometimes with low quality speakers.
2) faulty pre-amp section can reduce overall gain resulting in lower output volume.
3) for old amps dry solders in pre-amp & power amp section can have the same effect.
4) faulty coupling and filter capacitors can severely effect frequency response too.
