Hello, I presently use minolta EP4000 and it is showing me error code EP0400. Can someone help me out and also provide me with the Service Manual so i can handle other codes problems.
C0400 -Exposure lamp failure to turn ON
C0410 -Exposure lamp turning on at abnormal timing
Turn OFF the copier,remove the glass,Work a screwdriver trough the hole in the frame at the left front side of the copier and remove the screw that secures the scanner unit.Move the scanner to rhe right hand side of the copier.Remove 3 screws to free the scanner.(To remove the scanner turn it counterclockwise).Remove 1 screw and the wire guide,remove 1 screw and the ground wire.Unplug the exposure lamp terminal connector,unplug the thermal fuse connector.Remove the scanner from the copier.Verify the continuity of the exposure lamp and thermal fuser.If is defective change.

This is just a message shown when counter is reached for preventive maintenace. If everything is working fine, u can just ignore it.

Set the copier into Tech. Rep. mode by pressing the following keys in this order : utilty meter count stop 0 stop 1 then from the menu select counter then select Maintenance select the conter then enter anew value from the 10-Key pad
