Wireless printer stopped printing-wireless router light flashing

I have an HP Officejet 7410 wireless printer that stopped printing even though all the appropriate lights are on. The wireless connection light on the router is flashing green and I think it's supposed to be solid. I lost internet connection yesterday and was told to unplug the DSL modem, the router, the computer and then replug everything back in. The red internet light on the modem then turned to solid green and I was able to get onto the internet, but I am no longer communicating with my printer. Do I need to reconfigure my router? If so, how do I do that?

Restart your Printer so that it can Look for the Connection again, if you havent done this already.

If this doesnt assist in the problem, please give me the complete Model Number for your printer so i can find the solution

Problems connecting to printer

The Officejet 7310 does not have wireless capability, this was a feature for the Officejet 7410. If your 7310 is connected via wired LAN to a wireless router but the computer does not find it try assigning an IP address manually. Make sure the IP address for the printer is on the same subnet as your laptop or other wireless devices.

Also, if you are using Vista the original drivers will not work, you will need to download updated drivers from HP's website here.

How to hook up this printer wireless to my main computer

Hi jjank740;

First off, did you try to recycle your printer? Turn it off and back on again. Sometimes power outages can disconnect that printer. If that doesn't work. Go to the printer and access the system network configuration on the led panel. Type in the WEP number and password again, and let it search for the connection. That should do it. Once it's connected you'll see the blue wireless indicator turn on.

Good Luck

HP 7410 can't print anymore

I think I have solved this, any way it worked for me.
Turned off printer and turned off wireless router made sure no computers are on.
Restarted printer make sure wireless settings are installed in printer then restart router.Once router is up and running switch on computer and you should be able to print.
Hope this works for you.

WiFi Print Server, how do I configure?

I purchased this machine and went through two months of technical support, new drivers, uninstalling and installing software, new install cd from HP (that was older than the one that came with the machine) then finally a replacement printer - still no wireless capability with my compaq v2000.
Chased it all the way up to US senior support and a woman told me there that the wireless peer-to-peer feature only worked 50% of the time. She told me to buy a router - end of story.
I'll never buy another HP printer again, and I'll never spend the money on upgrading to peer-to-peer wireless for a printer again!
So - get a router and follow the instructions, and it'll probably work.
