Check fuses and relays, but the problem with RVs is always trying to find them. The RV forums are the best resource.

Your software wouldn't care whether it's a 9835 or a 9855. It can't even tell the difference. Are your supply settings and communications settings the same for both printers? Any error messages on the display when you print?

101 : The format referenced by batch isn't in memory. (Try rebooting printer or closing/opening software)
005: Supply width is invalid. (Check your format data)

if you look carefully there si a small magnet that touches another while when the printhead is closed which is known a sensor. when these to meet it tells the machine that indeed the print head is closed. lots of times one of these 'magnets' fall out and which fails to create the signal that the printer is closed
see if you can locate the area and inspect it
