It could be a spark plug problem..I would remove a few of them to see what they look like. It may not be firing very well when it gets hot, and new spark plugs are never a real bad investment, since they're generally very cheap. Not sure on this, but it's a good place to check.

SOURCE: Truck shuts off every 15 min

Check the relays in your engine side fues box. Look for the one that operates your IDM and the one that runs your IPR. Could just be a weak realy and it could also be a bad connection at your IPR. these are quick easy checks. You may have a fuel relay kicking out as well check for fuel related relays and also your fuel pump pressure. I have seen the pumps work but drop below the normal pressures needed to keep the truck running.

SOURCE: truck stall as soon as

Just becouse you ear the fuel pump runing when you crank the engine, does`n mean that has the right pressure, make sure you have the right pressure.

SOURCE: I have a 94 Mustang

Check your crank and cam position sensors as they are prone to heat induced failure. The cam sensor is usually magnetic and the cam sensor Hall effect. I am 95% sure that your fault lies with either one of there sensors. 2 pin socket (magnetic - sine wave output). One pin is 'ground' the other is 'signal'. A voltmeter set to 2 volts AC should measure a signal in the 0.2 to 2 volts range on the 'signal' pin.

3 pin socket (Hall effect, magneto - square wave form output). One pin is 'reference' (5volts), one pin is 'ground' and the third pin is 'signal'. A DC voltage should be detectable in the 0.5 to 1.5 volt range from the 'signal' pin.
It is important that the voltage measurement take place at start up when the engine is cold and again, 20 minutes later, when the engine has fully warmed up to operating temperature. Often the voltage output from faulty sensors declines with temperature rise. Just replace the faulty sensor.

SOURCE: 94 Mustang GT starts great

have you changed the fuel filter yet? They do clog up. That or you may have trash in your tank, and the screen is clogged. Hopefully its the fuel filter. The pump screen is located in the tank, and that means dropping the tank. hope this helps

Runs fine until it gets warm or hot then cuts off then cools and will recrank

Does it crank over when the engine is hot. If it does sounds like your maybe loosing fuel if so check fuel pressure if t is good check for spark could be a bad crank sensor or bad distributor.

Car shuts off while driving

if car shuts off while driving it could be a bad crank sensor. a bad crank sensor will shut car off while driving, then it will not start for about 10 minutes, when it starts it runs fine until it goofs up again. the popping could be the sensor for it controls timing along with the cam sensor.
