Hello Roger.
Please do the following checks for they might just help.

Check that the water supply valves are turned on
Inspect the filter screens
Test for overheating
Inspect the water pump
Test the water inlet valve
Test the motor

Most probably this case may be due to a faulty motor.Good luck.

To test the motor, you have to disassemble it if you are experienced or call a repair guy to do the same. He will use ohm meter to test the motor resistance.

I have a whirlpool ultimate care 2 washing machine commercial use. it its making a lot of noise I believe when spinning cycle changes as if the brakes are coming on noise gettting worse other than that...

here is one trick to do. put the timer on spin and pull out the timer knob. open the lid and use a screw driver to actuate the lid switch. then with your other hand hold the agitator until the tub gets to a high spin. once the unit is at a high spin then let go of the agitator. let the unit spin for another minute then lift up you screw driver. it should come to a gradual stop and not a sudden stop. let me konw if that works.

sounds like your coupling is broke. It takes the place of the belt if it breaks it won't spin or agitate. it will still pump though.

Whirlpool Ultimate care 2 (ABOUT 4 YEARS OLD)

Sounds like the clutch is slipping but sometime catching. Or maybe the transmission is almost gone. Is there a burning smell? If so, probably clutch.
