"LOC". As I turn the dial to the requested setting, all the times (15min. 55 min., etc.) are displayed, but as I go to push the 'start' button, the screen says, "LOC", and the dryer won't start. What is this LOC mean on the screen? I tried to unplug the dryer in hopes that it would re-set things, but, when I plugged it back in, the "LOC" letters reappear as I try to start my dryer. What can I do? I have alot of wet clothes ready to dry!!

Hi, "LOC" indicates that the control panel settings are locked. Press the SELECT and OPTION button simultaneously to toggle this 'feature' on or off. Hope this helps.

I can't get the "loc" display to reset from my Frigidaire gallery dishwasher

Try pressing and holding the Delay Start button for ~3 seconds. The 'loc' indicator should go out. If you hold the button for too long, then the lock could toggle back on. If the problem persists, you may have an issue with the keypad on the dishwasher.

I hope this helps. Please add a comment with the model number of the dishwasher if the control panel lock does not disengage.

I have an old "Intermatic Time-All." I no longer

Most time-all timers have two different trippers on dial.
Push down and rotate tripper to desired ON time and OFF time.
Then manually rotate dial until current time lines up with a mark or arrowhead.

To replace timer with new one:
Buy TN311c with 3 sets of on-off trippers that push onto dial, and 3-prong outlet.

Curtis and Co. Big Time 3 zone watch w/ temp gauge. What does the stem positioned at aprox 10 O'clock control? It is near the temp guage but does not seem to control anything.

Crown(stem) at 10 O'clock has air inlet for temperature, does not move. Crown at 8 O'clock is for setting 3rd time zone next to it. The two buttons on the right of the case, above and below, set 2nd time zone which is at the 6 O'clock position of the large dial. To set #2 push top button till min. hand moves 1 min., then push bottom button to move 1 min each time or hold for rapid movement. Large crown sets date and large dial. Unscrew it (counterclockwise) then pull out to first click, then set date turning crown clockwise, continue to pull out till 3rd click which is where you set the time on the large dial.

I have an Armitron 40/8172 watch and can't find an instruction manual. I need to find a way to turn off the alarm feature. I never need to use it. I can get the "ALARM" to stop displaying when I...

Push the mode button until you get to the AL function (alarm). On the right hand side of the dial where you would normally see the seconds go by in the small round bezel, you will see a "--" or a "-1" or "-2" etc., these are the individual alarm programs. Cycle through them with the EL button and turn off/on the individual alarms with the ST/SP button as needed.

My office has the Prostar 816 phone and the manual is not detailed at all.. I needed to know how to change the time (due to time change) Our manual says #55 etc etc... Help me please!

To change the time on a prostar 816 you first need to be at a display set (doesn't matter what the extension number is).
with the handset down, enter #20 the screen should say MMC DISABLED
1) enter in 1 2 3 4 1 # (that enables programming2.gif)
2) enter in #55 the screen should say YYMMDDWHHMM
3) enter in the year, month, day, day of the week, hours and minutes(the day of the week values are 1= mon. 2= tues. etc.)
press # when finished.

Move hour hand by turning crown to posn half way between 12 and one, press top button (MIN should appear in left panel), set min to 6 o'clock posn. Push crown back in and set time for timezone nearest to where you are that is offset by one hour.

Changing the time pioneer DEN2000MP

The solution that worked for me is:

1) turn off the radio.
2) Push and hold the power button down (the dial). DON'T release the button.
3) The unit will display the time on the lcd screen with the numbers flashing, (only hr or min).
4) use the up/dwn, right/left buttons to set the clock.
5) turn off the unit by pushing the power button (again, the dial).

That is it. the clock should be set.

Hope that helps,

Setting date/time display

First, you have to Enable Customer Programming. - With handset on-hook, dial #06. The display shows [MMC DISABLED]. - Dial the passcode and '1' and then dial #. (If you don't know the password try 1234, 4321, 9999, etc.) At this point, customer programming is open... Next, Setting the date and time. - Dial #55. Display shows [YY MM DD W HH MM]. - Dial new information as follows: YY = Last two digits of the year MM = Month (01-12) DD = Day of the month (01-31) W = Day of the week (1-7; week begins on Monday (1) and ends on Sunday (7)) HH = Hour (use 24 hour clock) MM = Minutes (00-59) - Dial # to set current date and time. The phone returns to normal use.
