Loose oven door handle on kitchenaid gas range

The model is kgrt607. There is no obvious way to get to the screws that hold the handle in place. Does anyone know how to take the door apart to get to the screws to replace and tighten them?

I just did this in about 15 minutes.
Open the door 1/4 of the way and yank forward. The hinge slide right out.
Flip the door upside down. There are screws on the bottom that release the front panel. this reveals a couple more screws that hold on the the top front panel.
Once you get that off you can attach the handle and put it all back together.

WHILE MAKING HOT CHOCOLATE THE OTHER DAY, THE MILK BOILED OVER AND SOME OF THE MILK WENT THREW THE SLITS AT THE TOP OF THE OVEN DOOR BETWEEN THE TWO GLASSES IN THE DOOR. IS THERE ANY WAY TO OPEN UP THE...

First, you will need a heavy blanket to place the door on once you have removed it from the oven. Open the door slightly, until it stays open by itself, about 15 degrees. Lift the oven door off of the hinges and place on the heavy blanket. (The hinges may snap shut when you pull the door up and off, but this is actually normal. It takes a bit of finesse to get the door back on the hinges if they will not stay out.)

Remove the 4 screws across the bottom of the door. Next, stand the door up with the bottom on the blanket and the front facing you.(Hold the door by gripping firmly around the middle edges to maneuver door)

Now, while holding the handle, remove the 2 screws that hold the handle on, unscrewing them just enough until the handle is free. (You do not want the spacers dropping off the screws) Hold the door together with one hand while placing the handle out of your way.

Once again, grab the door firmly by the middle outer edges and lie the door down, the inside facing down. You should be able to lift up the outer panel and glass and clean the inside of the outer glass.

Reverse the above procedure to reassembly the door. You can also take the door apart further if you have stains inside the other glasses. Here is a link to a schematic for your oven door.

Loose oven door handle

I had the same problem. We took the door off completely & turned it upside down. There are screws on the bottom of the door, take them out, take off bottom trim piece that holds the outside glass panel in place, remove glass panel and you can access the door handle screws and clean the inside of the glass while you are at it.

Cleaning Inside Glass Oven Door of KitchenAid KEMC308KSSO

To dismantle the kitchenaid pro line oven door: there is a lever over the hinges that attach a door to the oven. The lever is right on top of the hinge. Pull the lever up. When that lever is in the up position, you can pull the door out.
